1. About EXO

EXO is a food service platform ("EXO", "we", "us"). By completing this onboarding and activating your account, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Free Trial

Your subscription includes a 7-day free trial. The trial period begins on the date of your first device pairing — not on the date of sign-up.

  • No charges are applied during the trial period.
  • You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid any charge.
  • If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly plan at the end of the trial.

3. Subscription & Billing

After the trial, your subscription renews automatically each month at the rate displayed during sign-up.

  • Billing occurs on the same calendar day each month.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice.
  • All prices are shown in USD or BRL depending on your country selection.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Exo Admin panel or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:

  • Use the platform only for lawful food service operations.
  • Not share your credentials with unauthorized parties.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. EXO is designed to operate offline — core POS and KDS functions continue without an internet connection.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EXO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of EXO. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of EXO after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. Who We Are

EXO is a food service platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use EXO.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, country, and password.
  • Business information: store name, address, city, state, postal code, timezone, and business type.
  • Payment information: billing name, postal code, card last 4 digits, and card brand. Full card details are processed by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
  • Usage data: orders, products, menus, and operational data generated by your store.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provision and operate your EXO store.
  • To process billing and manage your subscription.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To send service-related communications (receipts, updates, security alerts).
  • To improve the EXO platform.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit and at rest.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Payment processors — to handle billing securely.
  • Infrastructure providers — AWS, for hosting and storage.
  • Legal authorities — when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account termination, data is retained for up to 90 days before deletion, unless required by law.

7. Your Rights
